Nepeta subsessilis ex 'Candy Cat' - 9cm pot
Low mounds of soft green leaves, quite large for a catmint and almost ovate in shape with pointy ends. Loosely upright stems bear dense heads of gorgeous flowers, quite large for a catnip. Flowers start off pale peuce-pink out of cream buds and age to deep pink, giving the whole plant a two-tone effect, especially with the contrasting dark calyces. I'm loving this and it looks great at the edge of the garden. Full sun and good drainage, winter dormant hardy perennial. Flowering size 40-60cm high x 30-40cm wide, depending on position and watering etc. 9cm pot.
