Herbaceous, winter dormant, hardy perennial which forms bushy clumps of large green leaves and multiple flower stems each topped with crimson-red mini poker flowers. A fabulous feature plant for late summer and autumn, especially teamed with Asters or grasses. Likes a bit of moisture and is vigorous without being invasive. Full sun or part shade, divide in early spring. 90-120cm high at flowering. 1 litre pot.
