A statement plant from the Himalayas, this hardy perennial makes elegant clumps of very fine, ferny foliage, from which rise stout reddish stems carrying large umbels of tiny creamy-white flowers. The flower umbels are produced in tiers and nothing gets ‘out of control’, so this is more like a refined ‘Queen Anne’s Lace’. Prefers a partly shaded position with rich, free draining soil and regular moisture. H 60-90cm. 1 litre pot.
