Stokesia laevis white
(Stokes’ Aster). A tough and hardy perennial with clumps of narrow dark green leaves and beautiful large cornflower-like blooms which in this form are a creamy white. The heavily fringed petals give a slightly shaggy effect reminiscent of a shasta daisy. Stokesia is a favourite plant of mine as they are easy to grow, low maintenance and long lasting. Full sun. 50cm H x 45cm W. 1 litre pot.
