A beautiful yellow species, similar in leaf and flower shape to the ethereal E. pallida. Narrow leaves from a central tap root, and upright stems of beautiful, large yellow coneflowers. The petals elongate and droop and twist slightly, creating a very elegant looking flower. Tough, hardy and long-lived but dislikes winter wet. Winter dormant, retreating underground. Can be a little slower to establish than E. purpurea but well worth the wait. Full sun and average soils. 60-90cm H x 30-40cm W. These are 1st year plants in 9cm pots.
