(Giant Scabious) Low clumps of large leaves and from early summer onwards masses of self-supporting wiry stems appear, creating an airy effect studded with large creamy-lemon flowers similar to a Scabiosa. A wonderful and unusual plant if you have the room, as it will eventually grow to around 1.5-1.8m tall at flowering height, and up to 1m across. Full sun to part shade with good soil. Hardy perennial. 9cm pot.
