Ground-hugging rosettes of fleshy, dark green leaves with wavy edges, slowly increase as the weather warms to big leafy clumps with upright spikes covered in masses of gorgeous glowing, deep violet-purple flowers. This is a hardy perennial which does best if given regular moisture, ideal if you've got a spot in the garden where the soil is a bit too damp for other perennials, but will still do well in hot areas if given shade from the hot afternoon sun. Flowering height 70-120cm x 40-60cm wide. 1 litre pot.
