Salvia 'African Sky' - 1 litre grade
(S. chameleagnea x S. scabra) Shrubby small-leaved perennial with a bushy habit. Masses of gorgeous bright sky-blue flowers over many months from summer into autumn. A really useful addition to the garden, which requires minimal maintenance (responds well to a trim with the hedge clippers once or twice a year). Prefers full sun and is drought tolerant – survives without water for long periods once established. Will tolerate many different soil types from clay to sand and still do really well. The only time I've seen this plant not perform is when it's in the shade, so a sunny spot is best. 80-100cm high and wide. 1 litre pot.
