Chocolate cosmos. A seed strain of this gorgeous short-lived perennial, which has beautiful single to semi-double flowers in dark mysterious shades of deep burgundy. The fact that the flowers are scented like chocolate adds another dimension to this unique flower. Dies back to a rootstock similar to a Dahlia in winter, so protect from frosts with mulch or lift the clump in late autumn. Full sun. 40-60cm high x 30cm wide. 1 litre pot.
