Gorgeous, frothy clumps of green leaves topped with a never-ending succession of pincushion flowers in a gorgeous deep blue which goes with anything else in the garden. Full sun to part shade and average soil. 50-70cm high at flowering, can spread to 60cm wide. I can’t get enough of this particular species (S. atropurpurea) as they are really proving themselves in the garden and are ideal as cutflowers as they have long, very strong stems. 9cm pot.
