Achillea filipendulina 'Gold Plate'
One of the tallest varieties I grow and looks particularly fabulous when paired with blue or purple flowered plants, as well as grasses. Clumps of fern-like grey-green, fragrant foliage and strong stems topped with flat heads of golden yellow flowers. Loved by pollinators. Clumps up well. Flowering height 90-120cm, spread 30-60cm. Achilleas prefer full sun and good drainage, plus an average soil - too rich and they will be soft and leggy. 9cm pot. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
