Known by a number of different names including Rosa centifolia 'Variegata' and 'La Rubanee', my mum has always called this beauty 'Village Maid'. After a visit to her old garden earlier in the year, she arrived at my place with some cuttings taken from the original bush, and I really don't need that many of them! Vigorous thorny stems on a bushy plant to around 1.5m, a very free-flowering variety with gorgeously scented double flowers, white striped with lilac. These are cutting-grown plants in 1 litre pots.
