A different biennial variety of Delphinium prized as much for its highly attractive foliage as its flowers. Quite thick, glossy dark green leaves develop into sizeable clumps over summer, before flowering usually commences in autumn. The flower stems are massed with small flowers carried right around the stem, which are a gorgeous smoky lilac-blue colour, Stems can be anywhere between 1.3m and 2m tall depending on the richness of the soil. Will self sow lightly if the seed is left to ripen on the plant. 9cm pot.
