Gorgeous upright but bushy plants make a real statement in the garden, with slightly purple-tinted green leaves which have a zesty anise scent and flavour, and are often used in various dishes, cooked or raw, as well as making a lovely refreshing tea. Narrow spikes of blue-violet flowers appear from early-mid summer for several months into autumn. Easy to grow and quick to flower, plus the bees and butterflies will thank you for planting it as well. Prefers a sunny spot with good drainage. Flowering size 80-90cm high x 30-50cm wide. 1 litre pot.
