A stunning giant sea holly, not often available, which will eventually form a large clump of long, strappy leaves, each one edged with soft spines which add to its beauty. Mature clumps will send up huge flower spikes to 6 feet high in summer, bearing masses of small thistle-like flower heads. Easily grown in most soils and prefers full sun, drought tolerant once established. At maturity these plants will be around 1-1.5m across and flowering up to 6ft high so be sure to plant them somewhere with space...preferably not near a pathway...they are best viewed from a distance. Strong growing 2nd year seedlings in 1 litre pots (1 per pot).
