An excellent species, related to the Iris, tolerant of a wide range of situations in the garden - a great landscaping plant, something a little different to use where grass-like plants are needed. Nice clumps of narrow, flat evergreen leaves. Stiff upright dark stems carry many beautiful soft blue-violet flowers in midsummer. Full sun to part shade. Flowering size 40-80cm high x 40cm wide. 9cm pot.
