Eriocephalus africanus - African rosemary
This is a wonderful easy-care, no-fuss evergreen shrubby perennial that will fill in gaps, keep the bees happy and just loves dry conditions. Forms a rounded bushy mass of silvery-green leaves similar in size and shape to traditional rosemary but not quite as strongly aromatic. Masses of small white flowers with contrasting plum-purple eyes appear over many months throughout winter and into spring and are followed by cute fluffy seedheads which look like balls of cottonwool. Highly recommended if you're looking for a drought-tolerant plant to fill in a sunny spot. Can eventually get to around 1m x 1m but is easily pruned. 9cm pot.
