(Aquilegia vulgaris var. stellata plena). Low mounds of soft, slightly blue-green leaves and upright, well-branched stems of fully-double spurless flowers in gorgeous shades of white, various pinks, blues, wine red and dark maroon-black (one colour per plant of course). Very striking and always draws comments, also makes an excellent cutflower with strong upright stems perfect for picking. Part shade, or full sun with well-drained but compost rich soil. Hardy perennial. 60-80cm x 30-40cm. 9cm pot. (Photos only show two of the different colour forms that form this mixture, actual colours of individual plants will be potluck...).
