(Greek mullein). A truly impressive species which is ideal as a feature plant in open, dry areas in full sun, providing fantastic vertical accents. Low-growing, evergreen clumps of large, grey-green hairy leaves are followed by an upright candelabra of rather large and extremely eye-catching creamy white flowers, which, as with all Verbascum species, are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Drought tolerant, short-lived perennial. Approx. size at flowering 1.5-2m high x 40-60cm wide. 9cm pot.
