A tough and hardy herbaceous perennial which forms slowly spreading clumps of magnificent, roughly hairy, grey-green leaves. In summer it produces big, stout, branching stems of bright yellow flowers up to 15cm across, with many very narrow ray florets which give them an elegant shaggy appearance. Great for using in natural plantings, will cope with most soil types including damp soils, full sun or part shade. Size at maturity 130-180cm high in flower, with an eventual spread 60-90cm wide. 9cm pot.
