An excellent species tolerant of a wide range of situations in the garden, and something a little different to use where grasses are needed. Nice clumps of narrow, flat green leaves. Stiff upright dark stems carry relatively large blue-violet flowers in midsummer. Full sun to part shade. 40-60cm x 30-40cm. 9cm pot.
