Judean sage (native to the mountains of Israel). Dark stems carry whorls of violet-pink flowers which emerge from darker bracts, above airy clumps of pinnate foliage. Rarely offered for sale, this beauty is perfect for semi-woodland areas in sun or light shade, with good drainage. Height at flowering 30-60cm. 9cm pot.
