A hardy perennial border Phlox forming winter-dormant clumps of dark green leaves with deep burgundy edges and colouring, particularly beautiful as it starts to emerge. Big heads of fiery-crimson scented flowers in summer. The flower colour tends to start off bright red then age to crimson-pink, as shown in the photos. Phlox like good soils and full sun to part shade, and may need staking when flowering. Flowering height 60-100cm x 40-50cm wide. 9cm pot
