This is a gorgeous half-hardy, short-lived perennial which will produce big single flowers in rich dark cherry tones, with a deep chocolate centre. Fabulous colour all summer long, especially if deadheaded regularly. Best treated as an annual in colder areas, although these frequently over-winter in warmer areas, popping up again in spring. Full sun to part shade. Flowering height 40-60cm x 30-40cm wide. Great plants in 9cm pots.
