Hairy Delphinium. A rarely seen Himalayan beauty with softly hairy rounded leaves which almost remind me of an Alchemilla. Stems of slightly hooded, dusky violet-blue flowers, each with an inky black centre appear in summer. A hardy, winter-dormant perennial, it should enjoy a partly shaded position with good soil but also good drainage. Height with flowers 40-50cm. 9cm pot.
