Euphorbia griffithii 'Fireglow' - 1 litre pot
A slow-growing but creeping rhizamatous, plant which eventually forms matted clumps of stems carrying beautiful green leaves with prominent red midribs. The stems slowly elongate and are then topped with gorgeous heads of glowing orange flowers. Autumn highlights are fantastic. As with all Euphorbias be careful with the sap when weeding or pruning as it can irritate your skin. Unlike many in this family, this variety prefers a more woodland setting, with a part day of shade and compost-rich or moisture-retentive soil being ideal. These plants are just emerging from their winter dormancy now, so the perfect time to plant. Size at maturity 60cm high and wide. 1 litre pot.
