Giant red-hot poker. A rarely available species that forms magnificent clumps of semi-succulent foliage which reminds me of an Aloe. Each one will bear a thick central flower stem topped with a big flowerhead in green and soft red tones. A very striking architectural plant that will do well in full sun to part shade and is reasonably frost hardy. Size at maturity approx 1.5m high and 1m wide.
