(Giant sea holly). Clumps of fleshy green leaves and amazing flowers for a long period in summer. The branched flower stems are topped with large spiny metallic silver flowers, each with a central cone surrounded by those magical large silver bracts. Flowerheads can be left for winter interest or cut back in late autumn. Self sows if happy. Average garden soil and full sun is best. Flowering size 90-120cm high x 50-60cm wide. 9cm pot.
