(Photo courtesy of Jelitto, thank you). A smaller hardy perennial which forms lovely clumps of heart-shaped purple-veined fresh green leaves, which frequently turn bronze in cold weather. Short upright spikes of many pink-tinged white flowers appear in spring. A great little plant for a woodland or partly shaded garden, with compost-rich but well draining soil. Size at maturity 30cm x 30cm. 9cm pot.
