Pelargonium barklyi - 9cm pot
A very special species for the collector, with highly attractive marbled and veined foliage which I just love. The stems of large graceful white flowers are a bonus! Correctly termed a geophytic succulent species, or caudiciform, this one grows from a tuber which will increase in size over time. A winter rainfall species, leaves appear in winter followed by flowers in spring, before the whole plant becomes dormant in the summer when it should be kept mostly dry aside from the occasional brief watering. Mature size around 30cm. These are well grown seedlings in 9cm pots.
