Renowned for its gorgeous umbels of flowers with centres that remind me of pin cushions, this beauty makes a wonderful cut flower, and an ideal plant for part shade, or full sun with good moisture-retentive soils. These are seed-grown and should be the lovely creamy-white flowered form with hints of green (possibly with hints of pale pink too as shown in the photo). They are notoriously difficult to grow from seed (these have taken nearly two years), and slow to bulk-up initially, but once they are established they will happily self-sow for many lucky gardeners! Hardy winter-dormant perennial. Flowering size 40-70cm high and wide depending on soil and conditions. 9cm pot.
