Thalictrum aquilegiifolium 'Purpureum' - 1 litre pot
I've had this beauty for many years now and it rarely sets viable seed, so this year I've managed to get just a few divisions off it, to share with you. Gorgeous clumps of green ferny foliage are topped with stout stems carrying clouds of deep rosy-purplish-pink flowers. My plant reaches around 1.2m in height making it a good garden plant, and is extremely tough, hardy and long-lived, providing flowers over a very long period from late spring into summer. Does well in a partly shaded position with good soil or if in full sun it will welcome some compost to retain moisture over the hot summer months. 1 litre pot.
