A lovely clump-forming hardy perennial grown mostly for its gorgeous marbled foliage which has tones of silver, blue and green. Upright spikes of small creamy bell-shaped flowers to 50cm tall add to its charm. Enjoys good soil in a lightly shaded spot in the garden or at least some shade from the hot afternoon sun but as with other species types it's not overly fussy. This one in particular seems to handle hot dry summer sun extremely well! I find the species perform far better in my garden than many of the newer hybrids. Clump size at maturity 30-40cm. 9cm pot.
