A lovely clump-forming hardy perennial grown mostly for its gorgeous marbled foliage which has tones of silver, blue and green. Upright spikes of small creamy bell-shaped flowers to 50cm tall add to its charm. Enjoys good soil in a lightly shaded spot in the garden or at least some shade from the hot afternoon sun but as with other species types it's not overly fussy. I find the species perform far better in my garden than many of the newer hybrids. Clump size at maturity 30-40cm. 9cm pot.
