(Clary sage). The colour of this seed strain is as yet unknown, but they are beautiful strong plants and will no doubt be stunning in flower – most likely to be lavender-pink/white. Forms a large clump of scented, furry leaves and strong, upright spikes covered in masses of flowers with attractive bracts. Usually dies after flowering but will self-sow if the seed heads are left on. Best in well-drained soil in full sun, drought-tolerant once established. 100-150cm x 50cm. 9cm pot.
