(Hummingbird sage; Pitcher sage). Another rarity, I just love the smell of the leaves of this species, which wafts around and is particularly lovely after rain. Low clumps of lax stems bear very fragrant, almost fruity smelling rough green, sticky leaves. Large clusters of dark pink flowers appear on thick stems above the foliage, in late winter and spring, frequently reblooming in autumn as well. Full sun to part shade. 60-100cm x 60cm. 1 litre pot.
